The entire article is reproduced below. You may view the original here. It’s another way of saying, “The rest of your neighbours are advancing. Where the bloody hell are you?”. And how about the last sentence? Do we really need a foreigner to tell us that?

MALAYSIA’S been at it again, arguing about what proportion of the economy each of its two main races — the Malays and the Chinese — owns. It’s an argument that’s been running for 40 years. That wealth and race are not synonymous is important for national cohesion, but really it’s time Malaysia grew up.

Gamers clear the air

LATELY there has been attention on young gamers who are accused of spending too much time on online games.

As gamers, we would like to give some practical suggestions and to clear some misunderstandings.

First, we disagree with the labelling of online indoor games as ‘unhealthy’ and outdoor sports as ‘healthy’ games.

Some of the online games, e.g. Ragnarok Online, foster team spirit, make us care for the weaker members, help us learn English in a fun way, and promote friendship.

Snatch Thefts

I had wanted add “…(Again)” in my blog topic, but soon realized that I hadn’t blogged about snatch thefts here before. There was a number of them in my old blog though.

For starters, I despise snatch thieves. Nothing can ever justify the act of snatching another’s handbag, wallet, and so on. The frequency of occurence here in Malaysia is alarming!!
