Iblawg Goes Beachin’
Posted by iblawg on June 16, 2006
Our long awaited trip was a memorable one. I had great fun with my housemates, or rather… ex-housemates now.

12 passengers only my foot.

The water was clear, and at some places it looked like man-made swimming pools.

Snorkelling was the main activity on this island. Met many, many MMU students while we were there as well.

We jungle-trekked to the other side of the island and landed on some huge rocks. The view here was simply breathtaking.

Poor Steph couldn’t join us in the water activities. But her presence was still greatly felt.

After three nights, we traveled one whole day home. The boat ride started at about 9 in the morning, then we took the bus and then the KTM home. I reached home at about 8pm. A good 11 hours of traveling.

That very same holiday trip also saw the demise of my less-then-6-months-old beloved Panasonic Lumix FX-9. I fell into the sea while holding the camera in my hand. *Sobs* [...]
