I wondered should I go or should I stay,
the band had only one more song to play.
And then I saw you out the corner of my eye,
a little girl, alone and so shy.
I had the last waltz with you,
two lonely people together.
I fell in love with you,
the last waltz should last forever.
But the love we had was going strong,
through the good and bad we get along.
And then the flame of love died in your eye,
my heart was broke in two when you said goodbye.
I had the last waltz with you,
two lonely people together.
I fell in love with you,
the last waltz should last forever.
It’s all over now, nothing left to say,
just my tears and the orchestra playing.
La la la la la la la la la,
la la la la la la la la la.
I had the last waltz with you…
La la la la la la la la la.

I’m supposed to be bathing right now. But let’s talk about the 10km run that I did. It was…
SATISFYING!!
Very, very fun! I was abit lost in the morning when I arrived at about 6am, cuz there were so many people! I had to asked one of the participants for directions to the registration booths. I had never joined a race with this many participants…
No pictures. Didn’t bring along my phone or camera for obvious reasons. Running along the Federal Highway at about 6:45am in the morning was really cool, so was along the LDP, where we kinda caused a traffic crawl around the area.
I think I ran my best, because I pushed as much as I could and didn’t walk nor slow down – yet didn’t qualify for the top 100 place. LOL. But it was not an issue. Didn’t expect to finish in the top 100 anyways. Passed Steph’s dad somewhere near Nanyang Siang Pau, and I must say that he could really run for someone his age!!
Each time I complete a run, with this morning’s PJ Half included, I’m grateful that I manage to finish the race without any injury. Sporting injuries can be really nasty – so always stretch well before you run!
Very interesting participants we saw, too. Haha. Definitely joining again, next year.

My trimester break was an eventful one. Been travelling and having lots and lots of fun. Sadly though, I have to mourn the demise of my beloved Lumix. It’ll be sorely remembered.
My experience in Cambodia has enriched my life in many ways. I felt a sharp pinch whenever I waved ‘no’ to the children who wanted to sell me souvenirs. I tried as best as I could to smile and decline but their persistence told me that I was not doing enough. I bought some items from a few of them, and quickly left before more came near me.
I remember one little girl said to me, “Sir would you like to buy a star? You can give it to your girlfriend”. I almost choked on the mineral water I was drinking. Not only had she managed to attract my attention, she also managed to touch my heart by uttering such a clever line. Of course, I do not have a girlfriend to give the souvenirs to, so they’ll all end up with my friends.
And speaking of friends, some of them helped celebrate my birthday while we were having our holidays in Terengganu. It was not much, but certainly thoughtful. I didn’t see it coming at all.
I’ve made many, many new friends within a short span of just one month, from the Spirit of KL competition, to the Robocon project, to the Orientation week. A truly, truly memorable trimester break, it has been.

Upon returning home yesterday, I found myself busy with a wholly different set of tasks. The spot-light in the backyard needed a replacement. So was the doorbell. Must had been the lightning. The indoor unit had a burnt mark on its cover!

To begin with, I find the KL Motor Show a little disappointing. Then again, it depends on one’s expectations. And no I’m not talking about the chicks, I’m talking about the cars, damn it.

The next photo is not for the faint-hearted. It’s a fashion disaster:
