With reference to this post, I captured a pic in campus earlier today.

Ho-humm… Not so bright innit?

You Know…

..that it is a day to forget when:-

..you blank out in the middle of your speech before an audience.

..you look at your audience and they look back at you for a long moment, anticipating what you’re gonna say next.

..you know you could’ve done better during those decisive moments if only you had prepared better, just a little better.

..you have this urge to sink your head into the pillow and scream until your lungs go dry.

..you feel like downing a bottle of Chivas in a few gulps.

Man, what an experience!

Whatever it is, I’m glad it’s over, although the trauma still lingers.

Bruised Butt

I can’t believe I f*ing fell today. Timun Sim was wearing slippers and literally, they were very slippery. We were walking briskly on the cemented corridor when he slipped and fell while descending a few steps of stairs. I tripped over his arm and landed almost flat on the ground cuz my feet were totally held back.

And a few gals had the cheeks to laugh when they saw me on the floor. Boy my buttock still hurts. I wore sneakers to prevent slips, but they weren’t enough to prevent me from falling. What luck!

Waffle

My dessert was a waffle.

Topped with bananas and ice cream. Yummy. RM5.80 for this sweet indulgence.

Bluetooth

What can you do with your Bluetooth connectivity other than hooking it up with a handsfree headset? Why, hook it up with your laptop of course!

Bought this at the PC Fair together with Bernard. 100m radial range, RM40. Yian claimed that her friend got one much cheaper.

Not sure about cool gadgets.

The coolest has got to be the nano, still. But the hype has died down.

The PC fair was alil smaller than we’d expected.

Printers were a good bargain.

Chicks were hot. But I wasn’t there for the chicks. Honest.

Grey Skies, Somber Me

I woke up to a bad morning, LW even offered her paracetamol, which she claimed was better than the ones I have.

And it rained the entire afternoon. I just didn’t feel my best the whole day.

I was driving alone in Sunway when it came on air. The next thing I knew, I sang along. The familiar words and tunes brought back heaps of memories.

What an unproductive day. The only thing worth mentioning is that I helped cook dinner today. *Chuckles*

Let Internet Take The Backseat

In a world where Internet is becoming increasingly essential in our lives, one must admit that there is nothing like communicating in real, in person. The Internet is, by itself, inadequate. Despite technology advancements and the invention of webcams to allow video conferencing, only a real-life communication allows expression of gestures, manipulation of vocal tones and facial expressions in real time. Eye-contact, more often than not, plays an integral part in effective communication too.

The Internet provides convenience for long-distance communication, as it is relatively cheap and fast. But if possible, consider meeting in real. You’ll be surprised how much the Internet screws things up.
